Our Story/About Us

Adam & Niki

Born and raised in Kingston, Niki and Adam are high school sweethearts who have been married for 22 years and have raised their two sons in the community they still call home.

Their shared love of creativity, service, and connection is at the heart of everything they do at Be Claus Charity.

Together, Niki and Adam bring their unique skills, creativity, and shared compassion to Be Claus Charity.

Their goal is simple but powerful: to help children feel seen, loved, and thought of through one meaningful gift at a time.

Founders

Adam Ellis

Adam began his career as an electrical designer, but sitting behind a desk was never where he felt most alive. Even while working on blueprints, he was busy dreaming up treasure hunts, family reunions, and games that brought people together.

When he discovered escape rooms, everything clicked. It combined his technical background, creativity, and love of hands-on work, and ultimately led to a major career shift. His electrical skills now help bring imaginative puzzles and interactive ideas to life.

Adam is deeply kind and compassionate, with a special place in his heart for children. He wants every child to know they are valued, loved, and remembered, especially during the holidays. Adam was the driving force behind the creation of Be Claus Charity.

Niki Ellis

Niki has spent her life serving others in one way or another. From working as an esthetician to running her own cleaning business, and now as a professional bookkeeper, helping people has always come naturally to her.

Her bookkeeping expertise plays a vital role in the administrative side of Be Claus Charity, while her heart for people shines through in a more personal way — she is often the one meeting directly with families the charity supports.

Niki is also a lifelong creator. She loves sewing, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, and painting, and brings that creative spirit into everything she does. For her, creating and caring go hand in hand.
